Human Development Programme at Aga Khan University invites participants for a workshop on Promoting Mental Health of Children to be held from November 18-20, 2008.

Nomination should be sent latest by November 14, 2008. 

Learning
At the end of the workshop, participants would:

• Be able to have an awareness of epidemiology of common childhood mental health problems. Be able to enlist some common causes of childhood mental illnesses.
• Be able to identify role of teacher and school in the promotion of mental health.
• Be able to list some activities and strategies that can be adopted by teachers to prevent childhood mental illness and promote mental health.
• Be able to relate different forms of child abuse occurring in class room its recognition and its link with emotional and behavioural problems
