Applicants for the Master of Medicine programmes must meet the following criteria:
They must hold the MBChB/MBBS degree or equivalent medical qualification that is acceptable to the Aga Khan University and the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Board (KMPDB) or the Medical Council of Tanganyika (MCT)
They must have completed at one year's medical internship after qualification at the time of commencement of the residency programme
Candidates for residency should have obtained registration, or be eligible for registration by the KMPDB or MCT
Applicants from outside the country will be required to obtain a student permit from the Department of Immigration before commencing studies.
