Network of Professionals
Inviting Expressions of Interest
The Aga Khan University-Institute for Educational Development (AKU-IED), Pakistan was established in 1993 to improve the quality of education by empowering teachers in the region. Along with its Professional Development Centres in Karachi, Gilgit-Baltistan and Chitral, AKU-IED offers graduate/academic programmes and capacity building need-based short courses, conducts research on key educational issues, carries out school improvement and capacity building projects and publishes policy and academic papers. Through these, it has helped improve teaching and learning for thousands of schoolteachers and millions of children.
As our activities continue to grow, we look to expand our pool of experts to work with us on various new projects. In this regard, we are pleased to introduce our Network of Professionals (NoP). Through the NoP, we look to engage with experts and specialists on a short-term contractual basis, who will contribute their knowledge and expertise to various educational projects (focused on research, teaching, translations, analysis of textbooks/research/data and editing).
We invite you to share your Expression of Interest for the NoP and be a part of our team as we work towards responding to educational challenges and opportunities. Click here for more details.
