Ume-e-Aiman Chhipa (MSc Biostatistics and Epidemiology, AKU) currently serves as a Research Instructor at the Centre of Excellence for Trauma and Emergencies, where she leads the iRise Project. Initially trained as an occupational therapist, Aiman has previously been an Innovation Fellow at AKU’s CCIT, with a strong focus on innovation, creativity, and entrepreneurship. In addition to her research work, she co-founded two start-up projects—Rinder and Maseeha Health.
Aiman has also worked as a Research Consultant with Community Health Medicine on the BOLD project at Imperial College London. Her research interests span occupational health, trauma injury, environmental epidemiology, mental health, and frugal innovation.
