​Research Associate 

Simran is a proud gold and silver medal alumna of SZABIST, where she earned a master’s degree in Public Health in 2024. She currently serves as a Research Associate at CETE, working on the iRISE (Intervention for Response in Significant Emergencies) project. iRISE is an NIH-funded randomized controlled trial aimed at enhancing frontline healthcare workers' willingness to respond in disaster situations.

With a strong passion for research, Simran has contributed to several studies focused on mental health and climate resilience. Her research interests are driven by the motivation to protect the most vulnerable populations, with a particular emphasis on enhancing women’s health autonomy and empowerment, addressing health disparities, and building community resilience against the impacts of climate change.​​
