Convocation 2015
The Aga Khan University continued to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the establishment of the University in East Africa. Like Tanzania and Uganda, the Convocation ceremony at Kenya was also presided by the Chancellor, His Highness the Aga Khan.
The ceremony was held on Monday, March 2, 2015 at the Aga Khan Pavilion and Complex in Nairobi. In total, 87 graduates were conferred with degrees and diplomas. The Master of Medicine degree was conferred upon 21 graduates with various specialisations while 39 graduates were conferred with the degree of Bachelor of Science in Nursing. The Kenya Registered Community Health Nursing Diploma was received by 27 students.
Joshua Kibera, a graduate of the Master of Medicine programme delivered the valedictory speech.
