Convocation 2018
The Aga Khan University celebrated its Convocation in Uganda on February 9, 2018 at Victoria Hall, Kampala Serena Hotel. Dr Ruth Aceng, Ministry of Health, Uganda was the Chief Guest of the ceremony.
A total of 103 graduating students received their degrees and diplomas during this ceremony. School of Nursing and Midwifery conferred 32 graduates the degree of Bachelor of Science in Nursing and 15 graduates the degree of Bachelor of Science in Midwifery. Diploma in General Nursing was awarded to 36 graduates. Master of Education degree was awarded to 20 graduating students of the Institute for Educational Development.
The customary valedictory address was delivered by Atim Irene, a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Midwifery programme.
