Usman Riaz is a music composer and director. He began playing classical piano at 6, then took up the guitar at 16. His song Firefly went viral on YouTube and caught the attention of TED curator Chris Anderson. Usman later performed at TEDGlobal 2012 in Edinburgh alongside his hero, fingerstyle guitarist Preston Reed.
