Shukria Rezaei, one of the awardees of the Afghan Digital Scholarship Award of the Governance Programme, has launched a new project called Hazaragi Poetry.
Through the Hazara oral and written poetry that she aims to collect, transcribe and translate, Shukria will be bringing attention to the plight and the challenges faced by Hazara community in Afghanistan. This project is not only a celebration of Hazaragi poetry but also a way of documenting Hazara’s history and plight by making it accessible to non-Hazaras.
