Job Summary
Reporting to Associate Director, the successful candidate is responsible to work closely with the faculty in School of Nursing and Midwifery, and Medical College, to design and assist in the delivery of simulation-based courses, sessions, and activities for their undergraduate and post-graduate programmes.
The successful candidate will also work closely with colleagues in AKU Hospital to design and oversee simulation based CPD progammes for their staff and assist in the planning and delivery of events and workshops for external clients while ensuring that all simulation-based programmes adhere to standards and policies of CIME.
Aga Khan University’s Centre for Innovation in Medical Education (CIME) is a global entity with a state-of-the-art facility for the training of health professionals (medicine, nursing) across the continuum of undergraduate to postgraduate students, to practitioners and specialists in Kenya and Pakistan. The center in Nairobi occupies over 30,000sq ft of space within the new University Centre and offers multi-purpose learning spaces, realistic clinical environments, low to high fidelity medical and surgical simulators.
