The Department of Surgery provides comprehensive and sub-specialty care in the areas of Cardiothoracic Surgery, Dental-Oral, Maxillo-facial Surgery, General Surgery, Breast Surgery, Neurosurgery, Ophthalmology, Orthopaedic Surgery, Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery, Paediatric Surgery, Plastic Surgery, Urology and Vascular Surgery.  The Department has 114 full-time and part-time faculty with a strong commitment towards teaching and research. Formal structured undergraduate teaching, postgraduate residency and fellowship programmes are integrated into the academic functions of the department.

Aga Khan University invites applications for the position of Instructor, Orthopedics.

Note: This is a contractual position till December 31, 2025.

Responsibilities

The candidate will be expected to participate in Undergraduate & Postgraduate teaching and research, clinical & operative work and will be providing coverage during on-call, and any other assigned task by supervisor specified to the section of Orthopedics.

Requirements

You must have completed a structured post-graduate training in Orthopedics surgery from a reputable institution and possess FCPS Part I or equivalent and be eligible for FCPS-II or equivalent. You should also have valid PMDC license.
