Responsibilities

You will be responsible to:
  • visit assigned areas and make sure that cleaning is being done according to the standard and all schedules are followed 
  • inspect all patients’ rooms after checkout and release for new admissions only when they have met the cleaning standards
  • arrange adequate staff coverage to all areas by distributing staff efficiently on daily basis
  • inspect all equipment on daily basis to ensure that equipment are clean and they are in good operational condition
  • discuss routine activities with other Supervisors on daily basis 
  • handle all cleaning request by assigning the concerned person
  • monitor use of consumable supplies to ensure control and judicious use of the housekeeping supplies 
  • provide on the job training to staff. 

Requirements

You should have:
  • a Bachelors degree, Masters degree would be preferred 
  • 2-3 years of related work experience at supervisory level
  • knowledge of hygiene and sanitary standards
  • ability to control and discipline staff
  • knowledge of housekeeping work procedures and equipment 
  • good interpersonal and communication skills
  • willingness to work in shift duties
  • comprehensive employment reference checks will be conducted.
