The Department of Hematology-Oncology is dedicated to excellence in clinical care, research, and education with the needs of our patients and the desire to contribute to new knowledge as our modus operandi. In addition to supporting and promoting this mission, the candidate will be expected to play a significant role in contributing towards an enabling environment that fosters academic growth of the department, growth, and development of the faculty, provides support for the fellowship program, and creates a culture promoting research and publications. The senior faculty in addition to having clinical responsibilities (in-patient attending and out-patient clinics) will, in consultation with the Chair, also have additional responsibilities aimed at expanding the growth of the department (clinical trials, fellowship training, developing new programs, leadership role).
