Introduction

Responsibilities

You will be responsible to:
  • perform risk assessment and deliver planned care to all assigned patients with minimum supervision 
  • assist in procedures such as insertion of  Central Venous Catheter (CVC), A/Line, chest drain, wound and stoma management according to hospital guidelines
  • provide basic hygiene care and monitor hemodynamics including invasive (CVC and arterial line) monitoring
  • manage all assigned patients including ventilated patients
  • monitor I/V fluids and fluid management 
  • ensure timely documentation as per defined protocols and standards.

Requirements

You should have:
  • an Intermediate in any discipline along with Matric in Science (Pre-Medical) background
  • preferbaly at least one year of related experience in a reputable health care organization and Diploma in Critical Care Technician or Nursing Technician with the reputable hospital (Preferred)
  • completed Nursing Technician training course at AKUH or any other reputable institution
  • certification in Basic Life Support and Intravenous Cannulation 
  • good communication skills and ability to handle work pressure
  • willingness to work in shift duties.
