Introduction

The Aga Khan University Hospital in addition to its five Hospitals creates access through its Outreach Services which include Clinical Laboratories, Radiology, Outpatient Medical Centers, Pharmacy services, Home Health, and other services. Outreach Services are designed to provide primary to secondary healthcare services to patients near their homes and are present in several cities across Pakistan. Outpatient Medical centers offer a range of specialty clinics including Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Endocrinology, Dermatology, Gastroenterology, Cardiopulmonary, Orthopedics, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Pediatrics and Physiotherapy, and cater to children, adults, and elderly patients for general health checks or specific disease consultations. 

 

The Department of Radiology offers a comprehensive range of highly sophisticated imaging tests and procedures that are conducted in a welcoming environment that focuses on quality and patient comfort. The diagnostic services are supported by advanced, state-of-the-art technologies, like ultrasound and general X-rays. The department is dedicated to patient services and imaging excellence through the highest professional and technological standards. The department maintains state-of-the-art technology imaging services to provide our physicians and patients with the most accurate, timely and informative results. 

Responsibilities

  • You will have an independent consultant status for patient care.  
  • You will also be expected to primarily provide services in general radiology and ultrasound. And/or in services on a need basis.  
  • You will be required to perform radiological clinical reporting sessions and procedures as defined in the monthly duty roster or as advised time to time from the Chair or his/her designee.  
  • In Professional service, managing both common and unfamiliar problems with such proficiency as to be accepted by peers for consultation. 

Requirements

FCPS in Diagnostic Radiology.   

Experience or Fellowship in Body Imaging / Women imaging will be preferred.
