Introduction

Responsibilities

You will be responsible to:

  • design, develop, and implement a comprehensive risk-based Occupational Health Management System to protect the health with a focus on preventing job injuries
  • conduct occupational health inspections, food safety audits, and health & hygiene audits to ensure adherence to local laws and regulations
  • conduct occupational health risk assessments, Health and Fitness to Work assessments, and OHIH Baseline and surveillance for both Company and Contractual employees
  • develop and implement health screening programs for employees and contractors and emphasize the prevention of job injuries
  • develop and implement field-based monitoring systems to reduce staff exposure and prevent job injuries to noise, hazardous substances, and chemical products at worksites
  • provide expert advice on preventing job injuries and support related to the organization's Well-Being Program.
  • coordinate with the Learning Department to organize Occupational Health and Safety (OHIH) related awareness and learning sessions and emphasize the importance of preventing job injuries
  • provide administrative support, as assigned by the department.

Requirements

You should have: 

  • MBBS degree with a minimum 10 years of experience in clinical settings, preferably MCPS or Diploma.
  • Ability to manage emergencies/trauma patients and can work under pressure on different rotations/shifts
  • experience in field clinic and administration will be preferred
  • possess a valid license from an accredited Council
  • ability to work independently and with teams with a flexible attitude
  • strong interpersonal/communication skills
  • proficiency in computers, especially in Microsoft Office.
