Since 2016, four (4) seasons of thirteen (13) episodes each have been completed for a total of fifty two (52) broadcast-ready episodes.
To date, 40 teams of filmmakers drawn from Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, Burundi and the Democratic Republic of Congo have risen to the challenge to capture the beauty and tragedy that is devastating the East African region. The series provides a visual anthology of the varied environmental issues affecting the deserts, mountains, river valleys and ocean coastlines of our rich landscape.
Topics range from one man’s epic 4000km walk from Kenya to Botswana to publicize the plight of elephants, saving endangered species from trafficking, human-wildlife conflict, devastating environmental degradation, and what actions are being taken by citizens to bring about positive change.
