The two-year, Master of Science in Public Health (MSPH) programme aims to address the ever-evolving need for trained public health professionals in Lower Middle Income Countries (LMICs) of the region, especially Pakistan. With a large health systems workforce required in the public and private sectors as well as academia, it is expected that a high-quality innovative curriculum will develop public health leaders to manage and find solutions to the plethora of health problems the population of Pakistan and countries in the region face.
The MSPH programme is recognised by Higher Education Commission (HEC) in Pakistan. To catering to the needs of professionals, the programme also offers part-time study options.
Admissions have closed for 2024-2025 cycle. The last date for submission of applications was March 14, 2024.
Eligibility Criteria
Following is the eligibility criteria applicable for 2024-2025.
Candidates who have at least one year of full-time work experience after graduation in a health-related field, at the time of application (voluntary work, part-time or unpaid internship is not included), and hold at least one of the following degrees are eligible to apply:
Sixteen-year undergraduate degree from an accredited / recognised university in Sciences / Health Sciences including bachelor’s degree such as BSPH, MBBS, BDS, BScN, DVM, D Pharm, BS Human Nutrition and Dietetics (or equivalent).
