The two and a half-year Post-RM Bachelor of Science in Midwifery programme prepares nurses to provide safe, competent, culturally responsive and quality care at all levels of the health care system with focus on reproductive, maternal, newborn and child health for the families and communities by integrating knowledge, skills and attitudes from humanistic, behavioural and natural sciences.
The programme provides Registered Midwives and Registered Comprehensive Nurses with an opportunity to upgrade their diploma qualification to degree level.
Eligibility Criteria
Route A: EM/ECN to RM/RCN to Post-RM BScM
Route B: RM/RCN to Post-RM BScM
- “A” Level with a “Principal Pass” in Biology or Biological Sciences
You must have a Certificate of Registration issued by the Uganda Nurses and Midwives Council
Nurses with at least two years of working experience as Registered Midwives and Registered Comprehensive Nurses are encouraged to apply
