Harrison Kaleli
Laboratory Technologist
Harrison Kaleli holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Laboratory Sciences from Kenyatta University and a certificate in leadership development and mentorship from the same institution. He has also completed professional development courses in good clinical practice and responsible research conduct through the Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (CITI) program.
Registered as an International Medical Laboratory Scientist (iMLS) by the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP), Harrison is an expert in quality laboratory practices. His experience includes working with tertiary institutions accredited to international laboratory standards, such as the College of American Pathologists (CAP).
Harrison has worked as a Laboratory Technologist at the Aga Khan University Hospital (AKUH) Department of Pathology, where he also supported the Neurodev Project at Aga Khan University’s Institute for Human Development. Additionally, he has held various roles at Amref Health Africa in Kenya, where he contributed to the development and implementation of ISO 15189 standards in the laboratory department.
He has a keen interest in the molecular and cellular dynamics of disease and disease progression, as well as mental health and accelerated aging.
