In her previous role as Project Coordinator with the Kenya Medical Research Institute (KEMRI) Wellcome Trust Research Programme and Broad Institute, Rehema played a key role in a collaborative research study focused on unraveling the genetic causes of psychotic disorders in African populations across Kenya, Uganda, Ethiopia, and South Africa. Her responsibilities included coordinating the seamless execution of the research study across four hospital study sites on the Kenyan Coast.
