Nida Wasim earned her MSc in Public Health from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and an MBA in Healthcare Management from Dow University of Health Sciences. Nida is a proud Chevening Scholar, she was awarded a fully funded scholarship by the UK Government in recognition of her academic excellence and leadership potential.

With a rich and diverse background, Nida's career encompasses experience in radiation oncology, clinical trials, and public health research. She is a Certified Clinical Research Professional and has worked on pediatric and adult clinical trials with Moderna and Pfizer. Nida also had the honor of being the first ever Pakistani candidate to get selected as an international intern at the Eastern Mediterranean Public Health Network (EMPHNET), where she worked with the Department of Field Epidemiology and Capacity Building. In this role, she collaborated with Ministries of Health across eight countries in the Eastern Mediterranean region and engaged with CDC leadership.

Her research interests include noncommunicable diseases, health inequalities, and antimicrobial resistance. Currently, she serves as a Specialist Grant Writer, applying her expertise to design and secure funding for transformative public health initiatives.​
