Komal Abdul Rahim, a distinguished scholar holding a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BsCN) and a Master of Science in Epidemiology and Biostatistics, stands as a proud recipient of the prestigious National Institute of Health (NIH) D43 Fogarty fellowship.
With a rich background as a critical care nurse in the Intensive Care Unit at the AKUH and over 30 publications to her credit, including 10 as the first author, Komal's dedication to advancing knowledge in various domains is evident. Her research interests encompas areas such as medical education, clinical outcomes, rehabilitation, sexual and reproductive health (SRH), and adolescent health.
Currently, she contributes her expertise as a Research Fellow for the Equi-injury and Trauma Registry projects at CETE.
