Convocation 2018
Aga Khan University celebrated its Convocation ceremony in Kenya on Wednesday, February 14, 2018. The venue of the ceremony was Aga Khan Pavilion. Professor Mwenda Ntarangwi, Commission Secretary, Commission for University Education was the Chief Guest of the ceremony.
Degrees and diplomas were awarded to 80 graduating students during the ceremony. The School of Nursing and Midwifery awarded the degree of Bachelor of Science in Nursing to 28 students and the Diploma in Oncology Nursing to 16 students. The Medical College awarded the Master of Medicine degree among 20 graduating doctors in various sub specialities. The Master of Education degrees were also awarded to 16 graduating students.
Immaculate Wambugu, a graduate of Diploma in Oncology Nursing delivered the traditional valedictory address.
