Convocation 2011​​

 Keeping the annual tradition of the institution alive, AKU trustees, alumni, faculty and staff honoured 317 graduates at the 24th AKU Convocation​ on Saturday, November 12, 2011.

This year, the University's Institute for Educational Development graduated 41 students of whom one received a PhD degree and 40 received Master's degrees. The School of Nursing graduated 149 nurses, 10 of whom received Master's degrees.

The Medical College graduated 95 medical doctors and granted 10 Master of Science and three PhD degrees. There were also 19 Master of Bioethics graduates.​

The Best Graduate Award for the School of Nursing was awarded to Zara Rafiq; Dr Asif Jafferani received the Outstanding Student Award from the Medical College.​​
