Convocation, Class of 2021
The Aga Khan University held its convocation ceremony on Saturday, May 22, 2021. Melinda French Gates, Co-chair and Trustee of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, was the chief guest at the event where 48 students in Dar es Salaam received degrees and diplomas.
A total of 48 students were conferred degrees: 19 received master’s degrees in education, 20 with a Post-RN Bachelor of Science in Nursing while nine received master’s degrees in medicine.
Valedictorians Anum Ehsan, MBBS programme, and Scoviah Masudio, Post-RN Bachelor of Science in Midwifery programme, addressed graduands at the global ceremony.
The convocation ceremony was attended by graduating students, their families, faculty, university partners and government officials.
