Convocation, Class of 2021
The Aga Khan University held its convocation ceremony on Saturday, May 22, 2021. Melinda French Gates, Co-chair and Trustee of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, was the chief guest at the event where 134 students in Uganda received degrees and diplomas.
134 graduates were conferred degrees: 77 graduated with diplomas in nursing, 29 with Bachelor of Science in Nursing degrees, 16 with a Bachelor of Science in Midwifery and 12 with a Master of Education degree.
Valedictorians Anum Ehsan, MBBS programme, and Scoviah Masudio, Post-RN Bachelor of Science in Midwifery programme, addressed graduands at the global ceremony.
