AGEMCS Fellowship
The Advancing Gender Equality in Media and Civil Society (AGEMCS) Fellowship empowers media and civil society professionals across Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania to integrate gender equity into their work. This six-month program targets experienced individuals, offering mentorship and practical training to foster cultural shifts within organizations. Fellows will develop skills through physical classes and mentorship, dedicating three hours weekly for six to eight weeks on capstone projects. By leveraging research and advocacy, the fellowship ensures that gender-sensitive content becomes integral to media reporting, addressing gaps in guidelines, training, and data.
