​About the CHOICE Project​

CHOICE project is a multi-country initiative to support the local implementation of the health and health-related Sustainable Development Goals (HHSDGs) by activating country-specific think tanks. These multispectral, academic-led think tanks would:

  • Develop local solutions to contextual implementation barriers through focused research, analysis, and advocacy.

  • Support inclusive and transparent governance processes for the oversight and monitoring of HHSDGs.

  • Advocate for progress towards the HHSDGs with government and civic society stakeholders.

  • Monitor and evaluate action to achieve the HHSDGs and accelerate strategies to address climate change and mitigate its consequences.


Aim of CHOICE Project

  • To collaborate on advancement of health and health-related SDGs (HHSDGs) in Kenya. 

How to achieve:

  • Develop regional consortia that will act as advocates and monitors to derive progress towards HHSDGs.
  • Together with partners and stakeholders, develop advocacy activities to implement, drive, monitor and evaluate actions to achieve HHSDGs.
  • Identify contextual implementation barriers.
  • Develop local solutions to address implementation challenges through focused research, analysis and advocacy.
