The Section of Nephrology has one full-time and two part-time faculty who provide a range of service including inpatient consultations, diabetic kidney disease, acute and chronic dialysis, peritoneal dialysis, and continuous renal replacement therapy. The Section has a multidisciplinary renal transplant program committed to increasing access to transplantation and providing support to patients and their families pre- and post-transplantation. The transplant program is made up of a diverse team of providers including surgeons, nephrologists, social workers, financial coordinators, pathologists, and blood bank staff. We have a fully equipped dialysis unit providing various services to our patients that include regular continuous renal replacement therapy, plasmapheresis, and slow low efficient daily dialysis (SLEDD).
