Quality Improvement (QI) Methodologies and Tools for QI Project Workshop

In May 2023, CPS organized a highly impactful workshop titled “Quality Improvement Methodologies and Tools for QI Projects". The objective of this workshop was to empower participants by empowering them with the latest knowledge and skills required to effectively conduct quality improvement projects. Held at CIME, the event was attended by a diverse audience of 55 participants, including Quality Improvement Representatives, managers, chief residents, and CUSP experts that created a conducive environment for collaborative learning and sharing of experiences.

Dr Fozia Asif, our esteemed Associate Director, delivered the workshop, in collaboration with the Quality and Patient Safety Department at Aga Khan University.

The workshop also provided a platform for participants to bring forward problems they desire to address through methodologies and tools employed in successful QI projects. This interactive approach encouraged active participation and engagement from participants as well as immense appreciation from the participants, who acknowledged its valuable contributions to their understanding of quality improvement practices.

Overall, the workshops exemplified CPS's commitment to education and fostering a culture of patient safety within the healthcare community.​
