This programme was initiated on November 1, 2003 and was recognised by the College of Physicians and Surgeons, Pakistan (CPSP) in 2004. The resident spends 6 months rotating in two other CPSP recognised hospitals in Karachi: Liaquat National Hospital (LNH) and Shifa International Hospital Islamabad.
