At the Medical College, Pakistan we never want financial constraints to be a barrier to bright students accessing quality education. We are committed to ensuring that aspiring students from diverse backgrounds and geographies, many of whom have limited​ financial means, can call AKU home.

• A Named Endowed Scholarships Fund (USD 100,000+)
• A Named Scholarship (USD 5000 for the duration of the degree) – commitment of 5 years for the MBBS programme​

​​Named Endowed Scholarships

Endowed Scholarship Funds are invested and grow over time, as part of AKU's general endowment for scholarships, in perpetuity.   

We invite you to endow a Named Scholarship Fund for USD 100,000 in support of the flagship MBBS programme at the Medical College, Pakistan. The gift may be paid all at once or up to a period of five years. One year after the fulfilment of the gift, the endowment will yield an income that can be used to support scholarships.

Once the gift is fully paid, your generosity will be recognised by having your name included on the virtual AKU Scholarship Donor Wall. Your name will also be inscribed on the University's marble walls, upon receipt of an initial USD 50,000, creating a permanent legacy on campus.

Named Scholarships

Alternatively, we invite you to support an annual Named Scholarship for USD 5000 per year for the duration of a degree (eg. 5 years for the MBBS Programme). The scholarship will support a student with financial need, for the duration of their degree programme.

Your generosity will be recognised by having your name included on the virtual AKU Scholarship Donor Wall for the duration of your gift.

While this fundraising campaign is for Named Endowed Scholarships and Named Scholarships, we welcome any gift from those who may wish to support our medical students. Contributions of any amount will support Financial Assistance for Medical College students.
