Throughout the week, both Centres hosted a captivating array of events, showcasing the transformative power of simulation. In Nairobi, exhibitions drew acclaim from hospital and university entities, and clinical simulation experts. In Karachi, an exhilarating Escape Room challenge tested the skills and confidence of medical students, resident doctors, and clinical nurses. The Simulation Relay Race in Karachi brought together nurses and nursing students. This unique challenge emphasized teamwork, quick decision-making, and the ability to navigate complex healthcare scenarios within a time-sensitive environment.
Additional highlights included a hands-on moulage workshop in Nairobi, adding realism to simulations, and an Open House in Karachi, offering a glimpse into the centre's state-of-the-art facilities. Furthermore, Karachi saw the launch of a thrilling CPR competition and an EyeSurg Tournament, igniting enthusiasm among undergraduate students.
The week culminated in a heartfelt Closing Ceremony, where gratitude flowed to students, faculty, staff, and esteemed stakeholders for their exceptional support. Special recognition was given to our students society SPIE, Nursing Education Services, the Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Science, and all other departments.
