The AKU Pre-University Summer Programme, 2025
Discover and Own your Edge!
Choosing a career path is a challenge- requiring a careful assessment of your abilities, potential and aspirations. Indeed, while you may have the right skills, it is important to use these in the right direction to have a successful career.
The Aga Khan University is providing High School students an opportunity to discover and own their edge through an eight-day summer programme - from June 25 – July 2, 2025.
Staying in the AKU residence is optional for candidates.
About the Summer Programme
It offers you an opportunity to discover your potential, meet counsellors, students, subject experts, and give you a glimpse of university life on our Stadium Road campus in Karachi, Pakistan.
We have a number of courses on offer. These are not for credit; you may attend one that you are most interested in.
You will learn for the experience and learning, without the pressure of letter grades. You must attend all the classes and complete all the assignments to receive a written evaluation and report. This can be included in your dossier as accomplishments when applying to a university.
The prepared programme schedule is rigorous but inspiring and inspirational. This includes formal classes for your preferred course, sessions planned for your own personal development, and you have the opportunity to sign up for one of the five options available in the ‘Creative Arts’ category.
There will be opportunities to play sports and enjoy activities with our on-board students.
