This is a two and a half-year programme designed to provide senior registered nurses with an opportunity to upgrade their diploma qualification to degree level. It provides them an opportunity to develop in-depth knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to provide holistic nursing care.
The programme offers need-based financial assistance.
Admissions have closed for 2025 admission cycle. The last date for submission of applications was April 4, 2025.
Following is the eligibility criteria applicable for 2025:
Form IV level of education with a minimum aggregate score of C plain in Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) or Division II in Kenya Certificate of Education (KCE)
Must be a holder of Kenya Registered Community Health Nurse (KRCHN) or Kenya Registered Nurse (KRN)
A current registration and a valid practicing license
Must have a minimum of two (2) years of practice experience
