Kevin Kipkoech
Student Fellow
As part of the B-HAP Kenya (Brain Health Assessment Protocol Kenya) project, Kevin Kipkoech is working to improve brain health research in Kenya by testing new cognitive tools with local communities. This work aims to promote fairness and equity in healthcare.
Kevin has a master’s degree in medical microbiology and a bachelor’s degree in biomedical science. He has worked as a Clinical Study Assistant and Research Coordinator, gaining skills in research, diagnostics, leadership, and ethical practices. During his Master’s, he received a CDC fellowship at Aga Khan University, where he developed practical experience in applying science to solve real-world problems.
Kevin is passionate about turning scientific discoveries into better healthcare solutions for patients. Inspired by Nelson Mandela’s words, "It is in your hands to make a better world for all who live in it," he is dedicated to advancing global health and reducing healthcare inequalities.
