Ashley Wamaitha Njoroge
Research assistant

Ashley has a background in research and data science, with experience in data collection, analysis, and reporting. Her expertise spans both qualitative and quantitative research, including transcription, survey design, and database management.

She is currently supporting the Africa FINGERS project, where she assists with research activities such as transcription, participant recruitment, and ensuring accurate data collection.

Ashley holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Information Technology and has completed a Data Science program at ALX, funded by Mastercard. Through research internships and data analysis roles, she has gained hands-on experience in data collection, transcription, survey management, and statistical analysis.

Driven by a passion for uncovering insights through data, she is particularly motivated by the intersection of research, technology, and mental health care accessibility. Outside of work, she finds creative expression through painting, singing, and dancing.

Ashley is also committed to giving back to the community. She has volunteered as a Teacher’s Assistant at Thika Road Christian School, supporting students in their learning journey.
