Data Associate
Odhiambo is a Data Associate at BMI, where he supports research projects on brain and mental health. His work involves organizing research data, ensuring accuracy and analyzing findings to help improve mental health understanding.
He holds a degree in Mathematics and Statistics from the University of Nairobi and is currently completing his master’s in health data science. With a strong background in data analysis, he has worked with NGOs and global health organizations, using data to improve healthcare programs.
At Compassion International, he helped track health and education outcomes for vulnerable children, ensuring better services. At RTI International, he worked on the Western Kenya Sanitation Project, analyzing data to improve water, sanitation and hygiene programs. He has also collaborated with other organizations, offering expertise in surveys, impact evaluation and database management.
Odhiambo is passionate about using data to solve problems, empower others, and drive innovation. He finds purpose in solving complex problems and mentoring others. His fuel? Transforming raw data into powerful insights that drive smarter decisions.
He enjoys chess, following the Miami Dolphins in the NFL, and finding strategy in both the board game and football field.
