Project Assistant
Leonard Liposhe holds a bachelor's degree in Anthropology and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in project planning and management from the University of Nairobi. He combines academic knowledge with practical expertise essential for research work.
As a Field Operations Manager at Komaza Kenya and Senior Field Officer at Innovations for Poverty Action Kenya, Leonard led community engagement, research, and project implementation. His roles as a Field Interviewer and Team Leader at the Africa Population and Health Research Center, Peer Educator at Family Health Options, and Field Interviewer at Ipsos Kenya provided valuable experience in research and community involvement. Leonard also served as a Research Assistant with the International Rescue Committee, Insurance Regulatory Authority, University of Nairobi Enterprises Services, Transparency International, and interned at KEMRI Center for Public Health Research.
With a background in Anthropology, Leonard’s career is driven by a commitment to ethical and sustainable development. As a Project Assistant at the BMI, he excels in strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, and project execution. He manages budgets, implements risk mitigation strategies, and fosters continuous improvement.
Leonard aims to advance public health research, particularly in Africa. Focused on innovation and accessibility, he is dedicated to driving positive change in health and research.
