CIME is set up to replicate an acute care environment, providing realistic clinical facilities for our medicine, nursing, dentistry and allied health students and qualified healthcare professionals. The centre provides a well equipped, state of the art facility which can replicate a range of clinical settings.
The centre has a large multipurpose educational hall, four conference rooms, twenty two class rooms for small group learning, an open learning space and seven simulation labs. It also has a lounge for standardized patient, cafeteria for tea and lunch, and a large courtyard for holding literary and art events, functions and dinners.
The Centre is well established and has a successful track record of facilitating the acquisition of clinical skills, the application of knowledge in health care and management interventions, and of education through the medium of clinical simulation. The Centre provides an environment that is authentic and clinically challenging.

Simulation spaces at CIME replicate every kind of clinical space from
the patient care wards to the mock OR, obstetric &
gynaecology OR, paediatric room, dental lab,
cath lab, surgical suite and beyond. Before treating actual patients,
students and residents gain skills and confidence in diagnosing and
treating a wide range of cases on life-like mannequins and simulators in
