Trailblazing Moments: Highlights of the SIMPACT

One of the standout features of SIMPACT was the introduction of "Escape from Mars in 2087," a captivating highlight that challenged healthcare professionals to navigate a simulated extraterrestrial environment. Crafted by seasoned educators and technical specialists, this immersive experience tested participants' critical thinking, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities, offering a glimpse into the future of healthcare training.

Moreover, SIMPACT facilitated the launch of two significant networks: the Eastern Africa Simulation Network led by Dr. Michael Moneypenny and the Network for Simulation in Pakistan (NSP) spearheaded by Dr. Faisal Ismail. These initiatives aim to foster collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and skill development within the simulation community, paving the way for transformative advancements in healthcare education across the region.

The conference also boasted an impressive array of activities, including 14 pre-conference workshops, 90+ abstract submissions, and exhibitions featuring 15 exhibitors and startups showcasing the latest innovations in technology and healthcare. SIMPACT 2024 was not just a conference—it was a testament to the power of simulation in driving excellence and pushing the boundaries of possibility.
