Hina Shakeel holds an MPhil degree in ​​​Molecular Medicine from Dr Panjwani Center for Molecular Medicine and Drug Research, University of Karachi, Pakistan. She joined AKU-CRM as a research associate in 2023 where her research interests are to explore the immortalization of hematopoietic stem cells using lentiviral vector systems. Prior to this role, she also worked at AKU's Department of Biological and Biomedical Sciences as a senior research assistant as part of a project to investigate the role of neutrophils in the prognosis, progression, and metastasis of head and neck squamous cell carcinomas.
