Dr Hammad Hassan joined AKU-CRM in May 2018. He has more than 12 years of research experience in the field of molecular biology, immunology, and genetic engineering. He has published his work in highly reputed journals and is a member of the Austrian Society of Immunology. His research at AKU-CRM is focused on the development of in vitro systems to generate human erythroid cells from different stem cell sources, including adult, cord blood and iPSCs, and the molecular analysis of these cells. ​
