Theme: Early Childhood Education, Care and Development in the 21st Century
Annual Research Institute (ARI) conference is an annual conference held by the Aga Khan University Institute for Educational Development, East Africa (AKU-IED, EA). In the light of its mission, the Aga Khan University, AKU-IED, EA organizes fora to bring together multiple stakeholders for sharing experiences, learning and creating collaborative partnerships.
Through this 7th Annual Research Institute, AKU envisions to create a platform for sharing new knowledge, experiences and good practices to enhance practitioner knowledge which is contextually relevant and that challenge the status quo with the aim of influencing local, national, regional, and international outcomes, especially in the area of early childhood education, development and care.
Focusing on the main theme of Early Childhood Education, Care and Development in the 21st Century, the conference invites deliberations on the following subthemes:
