Call for Workshops
About NHSRS
The National Health Sciences Research Symposium (NHSRS) is a flagship event of the Aga Khan University’s Faculty of Health Sciences having a wide range of health themes every year. This year the theme is Nutrition through the life course: Improving health for generations to come. The symposium will have a wide range of activities including keynote talks, plenary sessions, scientific oral and poster presentation, and preconference workshops. The workshop committee invites Call for Workshops. The last date to submit the workshop proposal is 10th October 2022.
Workshop Guidelines
All workshops must be aligned to the theme and follow a standard template. Workshops should be no more than three hours in total. The workshop committee will facilitate the provision of the venue, multimedia, sound system, stationary, and refreshments. For simulation-based workshops it will be the responsibility of the lead facilitator to arrange for stimulators/equipment etc if needed. The workshops are invited under three major themes (please see proposed sub-themes, you may choose more relevant subthemes)

Evaluation Criteria
The workshop proposals will be evaluated on the following criteria:
- Relevant to the symposium theme
- Practicality
- Timeliness
- Technical content
- Novelty
- Overall Quality
