Travel Grant for Faculty and Students​

Criteria

  • Full-time employee or student of graduate/undergraduate programme at AKU
  • Presentation accepted in the conference or is willing to volunteer as a session Chair or assist in conference activity
  • Received no objection letter from the faculty advisor, programme or department head
  • Is able demonstrate through the statement of intent how the conference will lead to their academic or professional growth.

The grant will cover the following:

  • Economy return airfare (cheapest option booked through AKU travel)
  • Visa fee, travel insurance and airport transfers
  • Hotel/Boarding costs for number of days of the Conference + 1 day
  • Transportation to/from the hotel to AKU-CIME for number of days of the Conference

Process

  • Please click HERE and fill out the google form no later than Wednesday October 23, 2019
  • Email a signed letter of recommendation from your faculty advisor or department head approving your application to sotl.conference@aku.edu, no later than Wednesday October 23, 2019
