Purpose of the Course
The course aims to build core knowledge of microeconomics theories such as individual choices and welfare maximization through general equilibrium. The course will take it to apply in situation of uncertainty, role of information and under contracts and transaction cost economics. This course is built on introductory course on economics and will take some of the topics with further rigor.
Expected Learning Outcomes of the Course
- Understand current literature on microeconomics
- To apply few methods of microeconomics for solving problems of market and resource allocation
- Apply mathematical models to specific economic problem
