Project sites: Matiari, Pakistan​

Primary Objectives:

  • To screen the fecal samples obtained from the individual from Matiari for pathogens using molecular assay and culture-based methods

Secondary Objectives:

  • To establish an anaerobic culturing facility at Aga Khan University for screening of anaerobic strains, and future field trials.
  • To build the capacity for performing field trials of proposed microbiome therapeutics in collaboration with Stanford University.​
