SONAM Strategic Planning
School of Nursing and Midwifery in Pakistan and East Africa
SONAM Strategic Planning is a collaborative effort between the Aga Khan University School of Nursing and Midwifery in Pakistan and East Africa as well as some key internal and external stakeholders in Pakistan, Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda where our schools are operating.
The initiative that began in December 2020, is extended over a 6-month period and will enable us to:
Collaborate
An opportunity to engage with and consult faculty members, students, alumni, experts at the Aga Khan University Hospitals and Medical Colleges in both the regions to think out-of-the-box and suggest innovations to develop one strategic plan for all four countries keeping it contextually relevant.
Create
Develop one vision, and devise strategies based on where we see ourselves in the next five years and how we intend to impact nursing and midwifery education, practice and research in these regions.
Apply
Identify short-term objectives and priority areas and bring about a plan of action.
